In 2013, Andy, a first-wave millennial who wanted to be his own boss, created Houseables, Inc. with a trifecta of ambition, instinct, and a desktop computer. Today, the company has flourished as a digitally-based brand specializing in household-goods, selling across multiple e-commerce platforms.

I love what I do because there is something new and exciting happening every single day. There is no dull moment. I get a birds eye view of seeing what’s working or not working and then I also get to go into the details to make important decisions that help the company grow.
My favorite part about working for Houseables is the fast pace nature of the business. We are constantly exploring new opportunities to expand and improve the business which creates new and interesting work to deal with every day
I enjoy being able to create customer-facing digital content and make changes based on our audience’s needs and wants. It’s also really fulfilling to be able to create a packaging design or marketing collateral from scratch that ends up in the hands of our customers.
The cool thing about the Content & Design team is that we are the connection between the inner workings of the company and the outside world. We constantly have our hands in different projects, and our efforts are often the most visible from the outsider’s perspective – ranging from product listings to all other forms of web content.
My favorite part of my field is being able to use concrete data to make creative insights and interpretations based on the trends and patterns of performance data.

My favorite part of the job is to strive for the success of every single new product. It is great to work with the team to estimate and analyze the product performance.
The fun part of the design process is that curiosity, imagination, and collaboration are essentials to producing good design. The best part is seeing people using your design.
My favorite part about working in data analysis is determining the factors of consumer purchases during a specific time period and seeing the variation of demand amongst different markets.
I like the variation of my role, one day I’m typing up meeting notes the next I’m processing reports or something completely different. I like being the go to person who knows a bit about lots of different departments.

My favorite part about my job is the possibility of learning something new each day, whether from a different department or suppliers. It's a never ending excitement for knowledge and team work.
I enjoy challenging my perspective as a conscious consumer by being the one creating customer-facing content. I like helping to develop products and put them into a perspective where I would personally look at it as a customer and think to myself, "Yes, I'd like to buy this."
One thing that interested me about working here is how there’s potential to sell any type of product, so you can dive in and research almost any category - barring anything illegal or distasteful. This really feeds the pursuit of knowledge. Additionally there’s always food in the breakroom, which really feeds the pursuit of snacks

The product research team reviews trending products and the potential problems they solve for customers.
Based on in-depth market research on performance, a product is decided upon that aligns with our brand and what our loyal customers like to see.
Product Design Development
Talks begin with our sister company in China to begin sourcing this potential product. Our
methods allow us to provide the customer with competitive pricing, without sacrificing quality.
Product samples are requested in order to inspect material, color, sizing, and functionality to ensure a positive consumer experience once it is on the market.
The logistics department works with the product supplier to coordinate freight cost and the transportation of the goods to our third-party warehouse.
Final Quality Checks
Once the official product is received, our quality control team details a report, confirming if the product has arrived as promised during the
negotiations with the supplier. This step ensures that products that arrive in poor shape are not passed along to the customer
Ready For Takeoff
A launch date for the product is set.
We release the product on launch day across various e-commerce platforms - Amazon, eBay, Facebook, and occasionally Walmart.
